In Stradbroke Island now, land of the sharks and good waves. Were staying at my friends, Australian boyfriends parents house (tongue twister) who live on a little shacky resort with amazing views. It's nice to get home cooked meals, clean sheets and a shower with clean towels. Quite interesting observing the American family ways versus Australian. Maybe my parents are just free love partiers, but we had strict conversations on how America lacks meat pie shops. We fought back and said your Mexican places make Taco Bell seem gourmet. Different flavors for different countries I suppose. It's quite beautiful and I want to attempt my shit surfing skills but I heard I might get my leg gnawed off. xx
